44th Bristol community tree lighting and 2nd annual Winter Carnival Thursday evening

Bristol’s 44th Annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting is set for this evening on Cumberland Street in Historic Downtown Bristol. The event will also feature live trees decorated by community members as part of Believe in Bristol’s Christmas Tree Village. Another forty-five Christmas Tree Village trees will also be lit throughout downtown. In conjunction with the tree Lighting, Believe in Bristol will host its 2nd Annual Winter Carnival. This free event begins at 5:00 p.m. with festive refreshments and lots of fun activities for the kids.  The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m., and conclude with a live performance by the Santa and the Sleigh Boys.
