Wythe County investigators trying to find person who posted violence threats to George Wythe High School

The Wythe County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect who posted two threats of violence online involving George Wythe High School.

One image featuring weapons was posted on Tuesday triggering a lockdown from law enforcement at the school prior to afternoon dismissal.

The second message was posted Wednesday morning and in both cases, no credible threat was discovered.
