World record cobbler attempt coming to Wayne Scott Strawberry Festival
A world record attempt is coming to a local festival. The Town of Unicoi is seeking proposals from bakers and culinary experts to help make the world’s largest strawberry cobbler at the 22nd annual Wayne Scott Strawberry Festival in May. Proposals are due by April 17 and not only asks for recipe and ingredient ideas, but also how the cobbler will be transported to the festival. Mountain Harvest Kitchen will be the exclusive space for the project and will also provide the ingredients and volunteers. Proposals will be selected by April 30, and the Strawberry Festival will take place May 17.
