Woman arrested for assault and vehicle theft
A woman is in custody after police say she pointed a gun at three people before assaulting one of them and then stealing a car. Police responded early Saturday to a disturbance along Seminole Drive. According to police, during a verbal argument Camryn Koroma of Elizabethton pointed a handgun at three individuals. Koroma then allegedly assaulted one of the individuals before leaving in the victim’s car. Officers later located the vehicle with Koroma and two other passengers. A handgun was located during a search. Koroma was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center on a $30,000 dollar bond.
