WCSO TN arrests man for false imprisonment and assault

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 23 year old Mohamed Ali and charged him with False Imprisonment and Domestic Assault. Deputies responded to a residence in the 100 block of Cox Circle shortly before midnight on December 3. A friend of the victim called 911 stating that Ali would not let the victim leave the residence and there had been an altercation. When Deputies arrived, they heard the victim crying and Ali met Deputies at the door claiming the altercation was only verbal, not physical. The victim said she was attempting to break up with Ali and attempted to leave the residence, but he held her down and refused to let her leave. Deputies took Ali into custody and transported him to the Washington County Detention Center.
