Washington County, Tennessee Sheriff Seeks Additional Funds For Security Improvements

Washington County Tennessee Sheriff Keith Sexton is requesting more than 130 thousand, additional dollars to upgrade a camera security system at the county holding facility. Sexton says the current camera system isn’t recording footage properly and that’s a safety concern. The Sheriff’s Department’s original request from commissioners was just over 321 thousand dollars. A resolution is scheduled to be presented to the Washington County Commission in a Thursday evening gathering at six pm.
