Washington County Commission re-approves security funds for schools
The Washington County Commission re-approved funds for security upgrades at Daniel Boone and David Crockett high schools. Last fiscal year, commissioners approved three and a half million dollars for security upgrades at county schools, including nearly one and a half million for upgrades at the county’s two high schools. The funds will be used to upgrade security at the schools’ entrances. Work has already started at Daniel Boone High School.
