Virginia Early Childhood Foundation partners with United Way of Southwest Virginia to launch “Ready Regions” program
The Virginia Early Childhood Foundation announced a partnership with United Way of Southwest Virginia to launch a new “Ready Regions” program. Ready Regions is a nine-region network designed to increase coordination and accountability in early childhood education programs.
United Way of Southwest Virginia was selected to be the lead organization for Ready Region Southwest. The organization will coordinate services and resources available to families with young children in the region–with special attention going towards the expansion of affordable, high-quality childcare services.
