Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles: Offices closed Nov. 25-27; many services still offered online

The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles reminds residents that while offices will be closed from November 25th to the 27th, many services can be still be done online. More than 50 DMV services will be available online at dmvNOW.com. All Virginia DMV offices will reopen for appointments on Monday, November 29th.

The Virginia DMV goes on to say they urge anyone planning to drink on Thanksgiving to arrange a sober ride home. Buzzed driving is drunk driving, and DMV officials say people can save lives by getting a sober ride home this holiday season.
