UT Vols equipment truck involved in crash

A Sunday morning crash involved a University of Tennessee football equipment truck that shut down eastbound traffic on Interstate 40 at the I-30 merge for several hours in Arkansas. Officials say the crash happened around 6:30 a.m. The Tennessee team was returning from a game played in Oklahoma on Saturday. Both lanes were reopened by 11:00 a.m. No injuries were reported and It’s unclear now if the truck would be transported back directly to Knoxville or if it would be worked on in the Little Rock area before returning.
