Upper East TN Human Development Agency continues energy assistance in January
The Upper East Tennessee Human Development Agency announced its January dates for the Low-Income Energy Assistance Program. UETHDA officials say the “LIHEAP” program keeps local families safe through initiatives that assist with energy costs.
Households that qualify will have a payment sent directly to their utility company and credited to their bill. Last year, UETHDA provided more than $5 million in energy assistance to local families in need.
