UPDATE: New York murder suspect waives extradition in Abingdon court hearing

A suspect in a murder in upstate New York was scheduled to be picked up in Abingdon, Virginia following a hearing in Circuit Court where he waived his extradition.
Washington County Commonwealth’s Attorney Josh Cumbow said Jacob Lawrence Klein was tabbed with a warrant from authorities in New Scotland where Klein is accused of tying up and stabbing the husband of his former girlfriend.
A local sheriff told the Albany Times Union that Klein, 40, had been stalking the woman three days before the crime.
