UPDATE: Johnson City kidnapping suspect to remain in jail

A Johnson City man who police said was mounted with guns, zip ties, and duct tape while hiding at his former girlfriend’s home will stay behind bars until his trial.

Washington County court information says prosecutors requested the state revoke the bond of Wayne Morris, Sr., telling a judge he remains a threat to the victim who had an order of protection placed against Morris prior to the incident two weeks ago.

Morris reportedly waited on the victim and a friend to come home when an altercation occurred and he was shot. Morris faces several charges including stalking and attempted kidnapping.
