TWRA stocks rainbow trout in regional waterways

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency says Rainbow Trout has been stocked into several regional streams to kick off the winter season. Over the past few weeks, crews have stocked the trout into waterways with both statewide regulations and delayed-harvest regulations.

Both the South Holston River and Doe River at Roan Mountain State Park have recently been stocked with trout. More details on trout stocking dates and regulations by location can be found on the TWRA’s website.
