Two Injuries, One Serious In Two Car Crash In Kingsport

Two motorist in Kingsport were injured, one seriously in a two car accident Wednesday afternoon on Fort Henry Drive. According to the Kingpsort Police Department’s Traffic Unit a red, 2006 Jeep Wrangler sport utility vehicle driven by Justin T. Wilcox was southbound on Fort Henry Drive, when his vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a green, Mazda pickup truck, driven by Ronald Z. Bennett in the driver’s side as he was heading Northbound on Fort Henry Drive. Wilcox sustained suspected minor injuries. Bennett, is believed to have received serious injuries. Bennett was also driving on a revoked license. The crash remains under open and active investigation by Kingsport Police Department’s Traffic Unit.
