Tri Cities Airport Surviving The Pandemic…Can Meet Future Demand And Growth
Thanks to more than ten million dollars in Federal CARES Act funds, Tri Cities Airport was able to stay aloft and continue services during the ongoing pandemic. Airport Executive Director Gene Cossey, along with Mark Canty provided Johnson City Commissioners with an update on progress at the one thousand two hundred sixty acre site, with an eight thousand foot runway at Thursday nights city commission meeting. Cossey says the airport is big enough to meet the demand for future growth.
