Tri Cities Airport Set To Receive Infrastructure Funds For Improvements
Tri Cities Airport will soon see improvements to its facilities with more than two million dollars in Federal Aviation Administration funds headed to the region’s airport. The money can be used for numerous airport improvement projects such as runways, taxiways, safety, as well as others facility improvements. The money part of five rounds of funding totaling 59 million dollars is being distributed across the state at airports in Knoxville, Chattanooga, Nashville, and Memphis.
