The first Sean Williams trail begins next week
Sean Williams will face a jury for the first time, with federal judge Ronnie Greer presiding, coming up July 16th at 11 a.m. This trial is for his escape and attempted escape last year. He is facing possibly 10 years if convicted on both. Williams’ next trial date is Aug. 27, when he’ll stand trial on three counts of production of child pornography. Each of those counts carries a mandatory 15-year minimum sentence, with a maximum of 30 years. The first civil trial related to his alleged crimes is currently scheduled to begin Oct. 22.
