SWVA Delegation Requesting Federal Assistance For Bristol, Virginia Landfill Situation
Southwest Virginia’s representatives in Washington DC sent a letter to the head of the EPA, requesting federal assistance for a continuing problem with odors coming from Bristol Virginia’s Integrated Solid Waste Management System. Rep. Morgan Griffith, and Senator Mark Warner along with Senator Tim Kaine are asking the federal agency to provide all available resources to assist the City of Bristol, Virginia to mitigate the malodors that continue to waft into neighboring residential areas in both Tennessee and Virginia.
