Sullivan Commissioners Hear Multi Million Dollar Development Proposal

Sullivan County Commissioners heard a presentation by a Kingsport developer, who wants to build a multi million dollar residential development off Volunteer Parkway near BMS. Darin Karst plans to develop 158 single family dwellings, on Raceday Road. Karst is seeking support from Sullivan County Commissioners to use Tax Increment Financing for grading, storm water, utilities, and road installment costs. The full commission will discuss the project at its next meeting on October 21.
