Stoney Creek residents water has been restored

The First Utility District of Carter County now reporting as of Wednesday evening, water has been restored for all Stoney Creek residents. Some residents had been without water for six days due to water line leaks and breaks due to last weeks sub freezing temperatures. Officials said about 300 homes were affected. A boil water advisory remains in effect for customers above the pump station with utility officials expecting that to remain for a of couple days pending water testing results. Some water customers may experience air in their pipes as the system refills.
