State of emergency declared in Dickenson County, Virginia following severe flooding
Dickenson County Emergency Management declared a state of emergency on Thursday morning following severe rainfall and flooding county-wide. The Dickenson County Sheriff’s Office has been sharing updates over social media regarding impassible roads.
Officials say as of 10 AM on Thursday, numerous roads and highways are closed across the county. A full list of road closures can be found on the Dickenson County Sheriff’s Office’s social media. Updates will be provided when available.
