St. Paul starting to enforce recreational vehicle permit use for ATVs

The town of St. Paul intends to have strict enforcement of the purchase and display of their all-terrain vehicle permits.

A statement from the locality said part of the new measure is due to recreation ATV riders driving recklessly in residential areas. The cost is $10 for the permit.

The revenue from those sales helps with town road maintenance and safety. The year-round permits need to be renewed by April 15. A separate permit must be purchased for access to the Spearhead Trail system.
