Snow, Does It’s Thing, Now Cold Temperatures On The Way
Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia, with the exception of the mountainous regions, dodged another snow storm that flirted with the area. The Tri Cities saw anywhere from a dusting to two inches, with higher amounts in the mountainous regions. Parts of Southwest Virginia in the higher elevations in Lee, Wise, Disckenson, and Buchanan Counties saw significant snow totaling five to six inches. But we’re not out of the woods just yet. Frigid cold temperatures are expected to roll into the region later Friday with lows expected near single digits.
