Sean Williams trial date set in Greeneville
A former Johnson City business owner accused of producing child pornography now has a trial date. Sean Williams escaped from a jail transport van on the way to a hearing Oct. 18 not far from the federal district courthouse in Greeneville. He was scheduled in court because his court appointed attorney had requested to withdraw from the case. That hearing will now happen Dec. 21. Williams will also be arraigned on an escape charge stemming from the October incident. Williams is a central figure in two federal civil suits against Johnson City and its police department.
