Scott County woman killed in SUV crash in Kingsport

A Scott County, Virginia woman is dead following a single-vehicle crash over the weekend in Kingsport.

A police report said Wendy Annette Ramsey, 51, of Dungannon was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that happened on northbound John B. Dennis Highway on Saturday just after 3 p.m.

Ramsey’s SUV was found near the Orebank Road interchange. A preliminary investigation said Ramsey hit the right side of the road while in a curve, causing the vehicle to go down an embankment and strike a tree.
