Scott County, Virginia To Receive Multi Million Dollar Water Infrastructure Funding
Scott County Virginia is receiving more than 14 million dollars for water service improvements. Ninth District Congressman Morgan Griffith says the Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development grant to the Scott County Public Service Authority will provide water for residents in the Central Scott County area as well as correct deficiencies in the Nicklesville water system. The project will involve approximately nineteen miles of water lines, a pump station, a one hundred thousand gallon water storage and other related equipment.
