Scott County Sheriff’s Office looking for stolen work trucks

The Scott County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for assistance after two trucks were stolen from a construction company. Two white Chevrolet work trucks belonging to Sturgill Construction were stolen from the Hiltons area around 4 a.m. Sunday. The trucks were both marked with the Sturgill Construction logo. A suspect vehicle was seen entering the area of the theft when it occurred. Investigators described it as a “later model GMC or Chevy SUV.” Authorities say three people appeared to be involved in the theft. Two were seen on camera getting out of the SUV and taking the trucks, while the third drove the suspect vehicle away. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Scott County Sheriff’s Office.
