Russell County man sent to jail for federal fraud
The former president of a federal halfway house will spend more than a year in jail for failing to do periodic checks on prisoners on home confinement then falsifying records to receive thousands of dollars in reimbursements.
Matthew Castle, 35, of Lebanon and the company Secor, Inc. have already paid over $200,000 in restitution and $30,000 in fines.
Russell County investigators assisted in the fraud case.
