Rescue And Search Efforts Continue Tuesday, In Hurley After Severe Flooding And Mudslides
According to Buchanan County Virginia Sheriff’s Office specialized teams from the Virginia Department of Emergency Management are on scene working alongside the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office and other state agencies after a Monday afternoon deluge of rain caused severe flooding and landslides resulting in extensive damage and restricted access to homes in the Hurley area. The Facebook post went out Monday night at Eleven PM and said rescue and search efforts will resume this morning.
