Report: Man arrested after police find liquid morphine during traffic stop

A man is behind bars after a traffic stop in Telford led to police discovering liquid morphine in his possession. 37-year-old Daniel Barnett was stopped while driving near Roy Green Road. A police report says Barnett failed to come to a complete stop at a stop sign, and when police attempted a traffic stop, he failed to pull over for both blue lights and a siren.

Once he pulled over, police discovered the vehicle was stolen out of Harlan, Kentucky; and that Barnett was in possession of a 20 mg morphine liquid dosage. Daniel Barnett was arrested and taken to the Washington County Detention Center on a $14,000 bond.
