Report: Holston Elementary teacher assaulted two different students

A substitute teacher is accused of assaulting two students at a school in Sullivan County.

A report from the Sheriff’s Office said two separate incidents took place recently with two different students at Holston Elementary School in Blountville.

The report said the teacher, identified as 23-year-old Jordan Malachai Duett, was charged with two counts of child abuse and turned himself in early Wednesday then was released after posting a $2,000 bond.
