Region’s Largest School System Reporting Significant Increase In COVID19 Cases Since Last Week

The region’s largest school system is reporting a drastic increase in the number of students who are coming down with the COVID19 virus. Kingsport City School’s COVID19 Dashboard shows 26 students and one staff member were listed as testing positive for the virus last Wednesday. Following a four day Labor Day Holiday weekend, students returned to school on Tuesday and the number of students testing positive jumped to 41, along with nine staff members.
