Recommendations Being Set For Virginia Lawmakers For Legal Pot Marketplace Discussions
As Virginian’s continue growing legalized, homegrown marijuana a committee has approved recommendations for the General Assembly when they discuss the establishment of a legal pot marketplace. The Cannabis Oversight Committee met Monday to establishing recommendations for Lawmakers to consider when it convenes on Wednesday to start the 2022 General Assembly session. Lawmakers approved legalized Marijuana last year in the Commonwealth. One pot issue bound to come up this year is the debate over speeding up the timetable for retail sales to begin next year, ahead of the original 2024 date.
