Recall issued on Kroger, Great Value pancake mix due to possible contamination
Check your pancake mix; a recall was issued for buttermilk pancake and waffle mix sold at Kroger and Walmart, due to possible cable fragment contamination. Officials say the potentially tainted products were distributed to twelve states, including Tennessee and Virginia. A report from the FDA says, “fragments from a cable used to clear the processing line were discovered in a limited amount of product.”
Effected items include Kroger and Great Value Buttermilk Pancake and Waffle Mix, packaged in 2-pound boxes. The manufacturing company says so far, no tainted products have been reported.
