Poll: Youngkin ahead of McAuliffe by one point in survey of 1,000 Virginia voters

A survey conducted this week shows GOP candidate Glenn Youngkin has gained ground in Virginia’s gubernatorial race.

More than 1,000 likely voters participated in the Trafalgar Group poll that shows Youngkin ahead of Democrat Terry McAuliffe by one percentage point with a margin of error at 2 percent.

Fox News reported a Cook Report poll that now has the race as a toss-up compared with a sizable lead months ago.
