Police: Three suspects mangle Greeneville ATM with truck and chain

Greeneville police are searching for three male suspects after an ATM machine was mangled during a robbery attempt.

The report said police were dispatched to APEX Bank on East Andrew Johnson Highway after the activity by the three suspects triggered the alarm just before 3:30 Sunday morning.

Left at the scene was a pickup truck with a chain attached. Surveillance footage showed an access door being removed and three money boxes being taken. The report said those boxes contained more than $32,000 in cash.
