Person removed during Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger’s event

Protesters collected outside the Ron Ramsey Regional Agriculture Center in Blountville Friday morning, where Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger’s “Coffee with your Congresswoman” event took place. Protest signs were out front expressing frustration with tax cuts to billionaires and corporations, and stealing from social security, Medicare, and Veterans Administration benefits. Harshbarger insisted that the American people mandated border control and illegal immigrants be deported by voting for Trump. The crowd was vocal and interrupted Harshbarger on several occasions. One person challenged Harshbarger over her stance on gender, telling her that intersex people existed. Law enforcement present removed that person from the building.
