Person fatally struck by train in Bristol, Tennessee

A person was fatally struck by a train Wednesday, 6/8 afternoon, according to Sullivan County Police Captain Andy Seabolt. The individual was hit by a train in the area of Vance Tank Road and Broyles Lane in Bristol, Tennessee.

Captain Seabolt says no other information is currently available and the person’s identity is not yet known. Updates are expected once the deceased is identified and next of kin is notified.
