Numerous road closures for Kingsport Christmas Parade on Dec. 4

The City of Kingsport reminds residents that the annual Christmas parade happens on Saturday night, and a number of roads will be closed for the event. City officials say road closures can be expected for areas on Clinchfield Street, West Center Street, East Center Street, and other side streets in this area.

All road closures and detours will be in place by 5:30 PM on Saturday, and will remain closed throughout the duration of events that night. The Kingsport Christmas Parade kicks off Saturday at 6 PM, and a tree lighting ceremony happens immediately after at 7 .
