Northeast State president tenders resignation
Bethany Bullock has resigned as president of Northeast State Community College and plans to return to her campus classroom this fall.
Bullock was appointed to the Northeast post in 2019—two years after financial woes were reported at the Blountville school resulting in the mutual retirement decision made by then-president Janice Gilliam.
The Tennessee Board of Regents has selected academic affairs executive Connie Marshall to serve as interim president while the search for Bullock’s successor commences.
