Northeast Correctional Complex hosting hiring event on Nov. 30

The Northeast Correctional Complex in Mountain City is hosting a rapid hiring event next week. Human Resource representatives will schedule interviews on the spot, and qualified applicants will be offered conditional employment. NECX officials say starting salary for correctional officers is $32,500 with an automatic increase after completion of a year-long probationary period.

Applicants should bring their ID, birth certificate or social security card, and proof of a high school diploma or equivalency. Newly hired correctional officers are eligible for a 5 thousand dollar sign on bonus. This hiring event happens at the Northeast Correctional Complex on November 30th from 10 AM to 2 PM.
