More fixtures in Washington County VA schools test positive for lead

Washington County, Virginia Public Schools has announced further testing found additional traces of lead in water fixtures at Glade Spring Middle School and Holston High School. In November, the school system announced testing at five Washington County, Virginia Schools and found traces of lead in various water fixtures. Originally, Glade Spring Middle had one fixture and Holston had two fixtures that tested positive. A release from the school system on Tuesday said at total of 23 fixtures at Glade Spring Middle and 30 fixtures at Holston High tested positive to varying degrees. The fixtures testing positive will remain off until further notice.
