Memorial Park Community Center hosting free tennis clinics for kids and teens

The Memorial Park Community Center in Johnson City will host free tennis clinics for kids and teenagers in October. One clinic will be for kids age 10 and under– this group will use racquets sized for smaller hands, and the court size will be reduced. The second clinic is for kids age 11 to 18. This group will participate in competitive singles and doubles drills. Organizers say all equipment will be provided, but participants must bring sneakers and water. Attendance by parents of children under 10 is strongly recommended. Classes are weather permitting. These clinics happen every Tuesday from October 5th to 26th.
