Marsh Regional Blood Center hosting 9/11 Memorial Blood Drive
Marsh Regional Blood Center is hosting a blood drive to commemorate the 20th year since the attacks on 9/11. The center says Americans stepped up to the plate when 9/11 happened by going to donate blood in vast numbers. This year, they say they are still fighting to secure enough blood to supply our region’s patients. A link to schedule appointments can be found on Marsh Blood Center’s social media pages, however walk-ins are welcome. The center says all donors will receive a free 9/11 memorial t-shirt; and the first one hundred donors get a free drink tumbler in addition to the shirt. The center says all donors are required to wear a mask while donating. Participants are asked to use the south entrance at the speedway and follow the signs. This 9/11 Memorial Blood Drive happens at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday from 7 AM to 4 PM.
