Man arrested in Bristol after stabbing victim in the chest
One person is in jail and another is in the hospital following a stabbing incident in Bristol on Monday morning. According to a report from the Bristol, Tennessee Police Department, deputies responded to a residence on Broad Street at around 3 AM.
Investigation revealed a suspect had come to the residence several times over the night attempting to create a disturbance. A physical altercation reportedly ensued, and one person was stabbed in the chest. The victim is reportedly in stable condition.
The suspect, Marcus J. Carter, 32, fled the scene before police arrived. They later located him, and he’s charged with attempted second degree murder, aggravated assault, and more related charges. He is being held on a $40,000 bond.
