Lockdown at Tennessee High lifted, one student in custody
A student at Tennessee High School in Bristol was taken into custody after police found him carrying a weapon.
A statement from Bristol Tennessee City Schools says the facility was placed into lockdown just after 10:30 Friday morning after police had received a report of a student carrying a gun.
The school’s resource officer and city patrolmen quickly located and detained the student who was carrying a knife. He was taken off-campus and the lockdown was lifted, the report said.
