Landfill Stench Continues, As Council Awaits Expert Findings

Bristol Virginia City leaders should know more about the findings from a landfill expert concerning the ongoing efforts to eliminate foul odors coming from the dump site. City Manager Randall Eads says a two year plan including scoping for clean out and controlling escaping gas at the landfill is ongoing. Dr. Craig Benson is expected to give a report to city council on his findings in early February.
