Kingsport police said Central Cougar Youth Athletic member stole cheerleader uniform money

An investigation by city detectives has resulted in an indictment from a Sullivan County grand jury on charges of stealing funds collected by a non-profit athletic group.

Kristen Houser of Bristol Tennessee is charged with one count of theft over $10,000 and criminal simulation, according to a report from Kingsport authorities.

Houser is accused of taking money from an account for Central Cougar Youth Athletics earmarked for cheerleader uniforms and using it for personal use.
