Kingsport Justice Center temporarily closed for renovations

Kingsport’s Justice Center will be temporarily closed to the public for more than a week due to renovations. The Kingsport Police Department says the lobby will be closed beginning March 21 and is expected to reopen on March 31. While closed, the police department’s records division will not be able to accept in-person payments for citations, but they can still be paid on the city’s website. Municipal Court cases that were scheduled have been reset. Those with scheduled appearances in General Sessions Court or Juvenile Court should have received instructions from the respective court.
